For his spring 2011 collection, Dion Lee looked to Ancient Greek sculpture for inspiration, incorporating it with his trademark minimalist detailing of sharp, clean cuts. The collection fuses Lee’s flair for visual illusion with the traditional practice of trompe-l’oeil – a classic art technique that results in the illusion of a 3D print. Lee scores another coup d'état by booking Amanda Ware as the face of the collection. The collection drops into stores July 7.
